Glenwood 1065 has been used extensively in the stud and breeds consistently high-quality progeny. His breeding values continue to improve, and he has a great balance across wool, carcass and resilience traits.
Glenwood 35 is ET bred by 1065 out of a very good wool donor ewe, 190607. He is quite bare on the points, with a great nature and a very white, super-soft SRS® wool. He is very balanced across all his breeding values.
Another outstanding son of Glenwood 1065. He carries an absolute cracking SRS® wool on an animal that is structurally very correct. We know this sire will breed on, and he has a very balanced range of breeding values.
An outstanding frame sire by Boxleigh Park 1989. He is perfect on his feet, with a great balance of breeding values and a very bold, lustrous fibre package. Top 10% on the SRS Index for all Merinos born in 2025 in Sheep Genetics.
Glenwood 77 is shaping up to be one of the best sires we have bred. A very upstanding, proud ram with very good structure on a long body, he has a great balance of figures and ranks in the top 1% for the SRS Index of all animals born in 2025.
Glenwood 211 is the ultimate package of skin and wool. He is a trait leader for Staple Length and CV, and again has a great balance of figures combined with a very well put-together body.

Glenwood is a huge supporter of the work of Sheep Genetics Australia. We have entered information into their national database for the last 15 years. SGA is the highly successful national genetic information and evaluation service for the Merino and Sheepmeats industries. It was developed jointly by AWI and MLA.
SGA is the world’s largest sheep genetic information source, with over one million Merinos on record. Animals are ranked using Australian Sheep Breeding Values (ASBVs) for various traits. ASBVs take into account both environmental and genetic variations and link sires from one region or stud to another. ASBVs have been available in Merino sheep since 2003 through the MERINOSELECT scheme.
Merino breeders have been slow on the uptake however – only 35% of rams sold in Australia are using breeding values. SRS® breeders have been committed and actively involved in the MERINOSELECT program since its inception. 100% of SRS® studs are using ASBVs. Results on the ground from our clients prove that we produce a fast growing, low maintenance, highly fertile animal without sacrificing fleece weight or fibre quality. In fact, two of our Stud sires rank in the top 10% for Clean Fleece Weight (CFW) in Australia. Glenwood displays full pedigree information on ASBVs on key economic traits for all its sale rams.
