We Sell Genetics that are Different and Better
G’day it is Norm here, welcome to our July 2023 Newsletter.
It is always good to look back at how with different genetics the Glenwood flock was managed in the past and what has changed in the way we manage today.
This is not because we are better managers than my father or his father rather through technology and research we have found a more advanced way to genetically breed our Merino flocks.
For instance, I remember many summers chasing flystrike usually over Christmas, firstly treating fly-blown ewes and then having to muster every mob to the yards and literally pushing them all through the Jetstream jetting race using Vetrazin or worse mixed with Diazinon to ensure protection for another 12 weeks and then repeat.
